Mechanical impurities cleaning

Mechanical contaminants include rock particles carried out of the well by the gas flow; construction debris generated during the construction of field gas gathering networks and trunk pipelines; corrosion and erosion products accumulated on the inner surfaces of the equipment, as well as condensate and water.

Gas scrubbing facilities can be divided into the following categories:

	dry dust removal units
	wet dust removal units
	electrostatic dust precipitators

The most commonly used are wet dust removal units and dry dust removal units.
